Just back to the forum. Thanks folks, Ramblers it will be (but I'm sure the others will be tried in due course),

I always use the Tatler Cafe. Good bacon rolls and the owner once threw a customer out for having a noisy baby, which pleased me greatly but may not be CCE compliant.

As I'm not a consumer of bacon rolls I wouldn't know but Osso has a good reputation and is handy for the bike shop in Eastgate. Lots of places for coffee and cakes/scones or for full meals, but eat-in snacks are fewer. The Oven Door might be worth finding (up a close off the north side of High Street). One which is not listed in tripadvisor is Ramblers in the Castle Warehouse at foot of Old Town.

I'm sure there must be some locals on here. I'd like to know the best place in Peebles for half a dozen of us to partake of a bacon roll and coffee before we have a ride round the Borders next week. Any advice?
