While it won't hold very heavy loads it will be handy for light shopping. Presumably thre's a bit where the person carrying the bags round the shop is struggling to hold it away from their leg to stop the gunk from the wheel-side pannier-surface getting onto their trousers?</p> <p>Large Sainsbury elephant-bags work quite well as an extra thing on the other side from a single pannier, if your existing pannier features a way of securing the handle, perhaps through the top flap or under the Vaude QMR locking hooks. A big bag can also be put through its own handle to attach it, then a smaller bag (or shopping decanted from something else) can be put therein.
