Yes, just stick to tarmac and don't go off any paths which are muddy at the start. The route through Dalmeny Estate it well sign posted.

But as you come home and start to descend the steep hill (you'll know it) don't take the signed right 3/4 down the hill, but carry on and follow the tarmac past the feilds and then right as it goes past a burn before a steep but short incline to pick up the path again.

Dave C

Don't take this (as sign posted)

http://goo.gl/maps/lYq3G

But instead follow this:

This route is good coming in (west tail wind along Burnshot Road)

https://www.strava.com/activities/273235794

On the way back follow detour signs through Dalmney Country estate, and then out of the estate and along Main St in Dalmeny village and down to Dalmeny railway station and out along to the bridge following this route:

http://goo.gl/maps/eXidC

Staying with in laws in Fife over Easter and thought it would be a good chance to cycle over the Forth road bridge. Planning on starting at the P&R anyone got any route suggestions / tips? Cheers
