Loch Doon near dalmellington has a WW2 aircraft submerged.. The roads out of Ayr are fairly radial so the A713 is the way to dalmellington via Patna. Nothing much until St. John's town of Dalry in Dumfries and Galloway. The legendary sawney bean had a hideout in dalmellington. We've been asked back again so I'll be going and want to cycle this time.</p> <p>Our first event is 2pm Friday so I'll probably set off on Thursday. Any takers? </p>
