There is the discovery docked close to the station and the art centre on the way to the university. Also if you like pies, the Wallace pie shop. Bridies also available. Pie is pronounced peh. If you want a meat pie and a mince and onion birdie too you will be able to say

Eh'll hae a peh and an ing a Ning a nah

However, might be a train coming straight back?

Before corrections are issued I know that wallaces pie shop is no more but the name lives on in wholesale. Though owned by weegee Pie Magnates McGhees

great news!

I was in Dundee several times recently. Could not believe that no busses stop at the station. You have to walk in to town to get a bus. Or there's a massive taxi queue.

Thanks! I did manage to track down the train but the crew had just changed and didn't know anything. But then I tried calling Dundee lost property again and the wallet had turned on. So now I'm on my first ever trip to Dundee, if the speaker from the Spokes meeting is to be believed there's lots of nice pedestrianised areas to see...

Left my wallet on the train this morning... It's not been handed in yet, I was hoping to intercept the same train some time this afternoon if it comes back through Leuchars.

Very off topic, but does anyone know how to track an individual train and work out where it is? I was on the 8:01 from Edinburgh to Dundee which arrived at 09:25, and I guess this then becomes the 9:41 back to Edinburgh, but after that I have no idea. Is there any kind of train identifying number that I can use to work out the trains journey for the day?

Very off topic but since there are lots of people who know about trains on here...
