More importantly I can get them into town rather sooner than the morning of the event this year. I'll harvest what I can this evening.</p> <p>It might be different next year as I'll shortly be chainsawing the prime out of the remaining rootclump to get the bits small enough to stick in a pot, to stop the spade-destroying invasive horror trying to sneak under the wall and destroy next door's greenhouse floor.</p> <p>Gaffer tape works fine for attaching a large poster to a cane to make a flaggy/placardy thing.
