From Sustrans newsletter:

We’ve also had news this month that the Scottish Government will be refreshing the National Transport Strategy. Derek Mackay, Minister for Transport and Islands, announced the refresh at the 2nd Annual Scottish Transport Conference 2015. Cllr Stephen Hagan, COLSA Spokesperson for Development, Economy and Sustainability, also talked about the refresh when speaking at the Society of Chief Officers of Transportation in Scotland (SCOTS) conference. The NTS sets out the long-term vision for transport policy in Scotland. We look forward to contributing to its formulation and will make the case for putting active travel at the heart of the transport agenda.
