They missed out commuters wearing the same gear all week - or is that just me?

Couldn't make it through the day without second breakfast.

There's been a few times when office persons have said that six Weetabix or Shredded Wheat is a lot. They go odd when I explain its the second most important meal of the day.

I am always forgetting to start the gps these days, especially on the way home. Fortunately the route home is usually straight and Strava tends to make gaps up. I also have the back up of the old fashioned cycle computer which starts automatically.

I'm pretty addicted to collating mileage totals on a monthly basis. I did try to wean myself off mileage target setting in favour of quality but was only partly successful (I do both now).

I just don't have the stamina to upload that many Strava sessions in a day. It takes me about 5 minutes in a straight line from flat to station which isn't worth fiddling with my phone.

I suppose if I had a fancy gizmo that did that stuff for me it would be easier. I'd still have to sync it manually I think? I confess I don't really know what features high-end bike computers have.

Sometimes, if i'm close to a milestone I'll even chuck my garmin in my pocket when I'm out on the Pashley (well it would look silly, on the Pashley). Don't want to lose any of those miles...

And if you want to know how far you have cycled in a year, Strava is one fairly easy way to find out, so what's the problem? (says someone who uploads 4 bike-train-bike commuting activities most days....)

@Beano @paddyirish....ditto.

However as Strava has pointed out my commute has become a pain filled pedal stomping suffer ridden time trial. Of sorts.

Although 'fly-by' has made it even more geeky.

yep, I have that too, though there are many ways to get to Edinburgh from Fife. Give any secret stalkers a wee surprise by trying a different one.

Love the line:

"...and uploading the same six-mile route on Strava two times a day."

yep that's what my Strava feed looks like... Dunfermline to Edinburgh and back...hope no one follows me on it...I must be mega boring to follow haha

As paddy Irish points out Porridge is the answer. No need for second breakfast if start day with bowl of porridge topped with Greek yoghurt honey and on feast days rhubarb compote. Marks and Spencer's are selling stuff with millet in it that makes you feel too good. True.
