A group of about eight with one recumbent. Bent rider said he thought there must be a great view over the wall but he couldn't see it. I was regretting not entering it when I left them at the bottom of the hill; turning right as they turned left to much shouting of "left, left" aimed at me presumably. Very sociable ride. Well organised too. Smashing food at West Barns at 3am. Nice genteel cycle between three bookshops (all new to me) with some readings finishing in a cafe. About 15 people there &amp; everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Most people honestly think that what we are offering at LB is possibly dangerous. Hence newcomers feel safer with what they would wear for upright biking.</p> <p>I don't use hi-viz but do run daytime lights off my hub on the tandem with Mrs LB.<br /> <em><br /> (Both the girls on the trikes ride 'normal' bikes to work so have hi-viz as part of their kit.
