Cycling clearly booming, probably on a par with Edinburgh. Slightly more women cycling in Dublin than in Edinburgh. Separate lanes being put in in some places. Quite a lot of turning into oncoming traffic at junctions. Seems to be an accepted thing. Traffic in central doubling very heavy. Everyone seems to get along. Bit of shoaling at lights but nothing like London for aggro.</p> <p>The bikes to rent are I think similar to boris in both style and charge. A twenty euro subscription for a year then free for first half hour. Or a three day five euro sub then the same. I had gone to the last bike parking station at the Liffey docks this morning and chap said if I took a bike back into town centre the stations would be checker and I would have to wait to get one parked. My pal who I visit said that max would be five mins waiting.</p> <p>All good. </p>
