Part of the Aberdour Festival, and now pretty much the traditional cyclocross season opener (there are LOADS of non-series events this year, the sport is really taking off).

Promises this year to be quite an event with the format. Two qualifying races, with up to 100 riders in each. The top 50% in each race go into an A race later in the day, the bottom 50% into a B race (and I'm assuming this means that the races are slightly shorter than the standard CX hour, given the timings available). In between the qualifiers and the finals there'll be the kids' races (free entry for those, great idea).

Ceilidh afterwards for those who are dancin', and apparently more general and food stalls than previously. Looking forward to riding this one.
