If people have come off and got hurt, or damaged bikes or clothing or equipment, then I'd actually suggest reporting it to the police as an action that has created a danger. It will be fired off to the council who will determine if that bit of the path is adopted by council or not. This was neatly done about a week ago with chalk markings saying 'wet paint' but also, interestingly, 'have not paid bills' or words to that effect. The problem is, in the wet, the black paint is lethally slippery. I think this bit of the path is owned by RBS. Any ideas to whom we should complain? </p>
