What a lovely thing to watch – all the car drivers ceding to the cyclists, flowing lines for efficiency...</p> <p>But for a roundabout with one circulation lane for motorists, one bike lane and the footpath, that's a lot of land take. My first thoughts included 'where are all the bikes?', but that must have been during a quiet spell as soon as there were far more than we'd see around here, although there were still more cars than bikes. Most of the car drivers seem to be giving way when they should, with only a couple of times harsh braking needed (by cyclist and driver) when not enough attention/consideration given. Interesting that many (most?) of the cyclists indicate either to show that they are going across the crossing or not.
