Walking on a nice summer's day is fine but try it when the gales are blowing."</p> <p>I do wonder at all of these endless campaigns that basically just say to people "Hey, walking and cycling is really good for you, why not try it to get to work?" without any infrastructure as an incentive to do it, or restrictions on motor vehicles as a disincentive to use the, and realise the utter pointlessness of them.
