Then it takes an age to get it near perfect and back to true. Also rear (and front disc) wheels go together easily but then adjusting for the dishing means more faffing. I'm just trying to choose components for a new disc-braked winter commuter, that will include putting up a couple of wheels. Its not simple but not too difficult, mainly time consuming. </p> <p>Shimano DH-3D80 hub, Ambrosio Evolution rim and Double butted spokes (36 of).</p> <p>I have an existing dynamo (same but Open Sport rim) wheel, that I'm going to use exclusively for commuting. This is going to live on my Audax bike, though its also a disc compatible hub so can be pressed into action on the studded tyre Cotic X in winter if needed.</p> <p>I'm quite impressed at what we can achieve when we apply ourselves! :O) </p>
