You need to be careful with providing this cycle parking stuff. It'll only encourage 'em.

(+1 for the boat club's fence...)

As described - pretty much non existant. I have asked them before to ask the council to fit some. No idea if they have or not.

I usually chain up to the Boat Club's fencing when down there

Nowt at the Espy - one lamp-post next to a bin on the prom. All the Espy's drainpipes are too close to the wall to get even a cable behind.

Swimming-pool racks have been mentioned in several of the "bike nicked" stories in the Portobellovian FB pages, though the level of locking applied was never explained.
Lots of racks outside the soft play/former indoor bowling further west, but I think I remember them being badly-bolted-to-the-ground wheeltwisters rather than Sheffields.
Some racks at the Co-up further up Bath Street and some on-street outside the police station.

Nope, I think that's about it. Nearest 'proper' parking is further along the prom at the swimming pool, where there are a few Sheffields.

Don't think it's great - usually see bikes chained to lamppost on the prom. It's been a while though, so maybe there's a better alternative.
