We do the same for computers in computer labs, quite simple. Never seen 10 students converge on the same computer causing chaos, mind you I don't spend much time in the labs, maybe it happens...</p> <p>Bit like when you get to the multi storey car park, and it tells you how many free spaces there are in a display above the entrance. Seems sensible to stop people needlessly driving to a particular place if there is no space.
