<description>&#60;p&#62;Parking was indeed non-existent, especially as I'd taken a D-lock and couldn't use most of the poles.  The push up Alnwickhill on the tandem nearly did me in.  Luckily my stoker found some reserves of strength and pushed us along. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Was glad we'd cycled though.  The deceased had cycled on his own to North Berwick when he was 9, and to see the opening of the Kincardine bridge when he was 11.  He helped restart the Dunedin cycle club.  And met his wife-to-be on a cycling holiday in Ireland.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It seemed only right to get to his funeral by bike.
