<description>&#60;p&#62;New visible poles and lighting alongside each crossing point at Stenhouse Cross - &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Large flashing orange balls atop poles - not in itself revolutionary.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The poles themselves are in black and white stripes, but also &#60;strong&#62;incorporate white LED light strips on the 'white' sections&#60;/strong&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I know it sounds odd, but it is extremely effective in the dark.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I wonder if these have arrived as a result of the recent pedestrian fatality at the junction?
