Here are a few ideas for using them:</p> <p>Cut out little rings of rubber to roll down over headset and seatpost to stop water getting in the frame.</p> <p>Put under any attachments to seatpost or handlebars to prevent slippage.</p> <p>Wrap round the chainstay of a mountain bike to protect from the chain.</p> <p>If you haven't got a bike stand, suspend bike from the rafters of shed or similar with old tubes.</p> <p>Affix to winter cycling boots to keep the rain out.</p> <p>That is reminiscent of the "Top Tips" in Viz, but I have actually done all that. </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=15872#post-207635 Tue, 05 Jan 2016 14:12:13 +0000 threefromleith 207635@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>I've got a lovely belt made out of an old tyre.
