Not sure why, perhaps drivers feel it's the beginning of a section of urban motorway as it widens up further east and isn't really residential. It was next to a parked car, which I don't think was directly involved in the collision.<br /> I had a hairy moment overtaking a line of slow moving traffic. A lorry pulled over to the right to pass a parked car as I was passing. Then I had to stop at a pinch point caused by a traffic island. The West half (from Cameron Toll to Prestonfield Av.) is extremely dangerous because of parked cars and traffic islands, many drivers think they can overtake between the traffic islands but then run out of space.
