Whilst the crowd was mostly sympathetic to PoP, as I say, the average age was quite high, although a reasonable number said that they might attend on foot if not on a bicycle. Only one person was negative; an elderly man who complained about pavement cycling and then the Roseburn segregation plans. The hail and snow hit me between Heriot-Watt and Currie so I'm assuming that was when you were all heading back. Mostly sunny on the way into town again. I had already stopped three times to let people passed and been thanked, I am hanging over the railing and taking up less room than if pushing. I moved him along merrily.</p> <p>Sorry to have missed acsimpson as I have paint for him from SRD. Based speeds on children cycling on their own but they were all attached. Also not sure where ChDot went but at least he found acsimpson.</p> <p>Think the children had fun. Swans, mallard, a donkey, the soliton plaque and the climbing centre all in one morning.</p> <p>I also met my old cronies in the carpark at the bridge inn. Poor Kezia she was up at Harlaw hydro espousing green energy and the Balerno village trust tweeted it only to be obliterated by immediately personal insults from the cybernats. I didn't see it until I cycled through it on the way home. It wasn't there this morning. There's also a patch of broken glass just beyond the S bend near the pedestrian footbridge at Wester Hailes. Stay close to the canal when the path splits briefly to avoid it.
