They aren't <strong>all</strong> speedy men in their early 30's. I've booked my train ticket and bike reservation for this, but I'm quite a bit more than early 30's and not speedy at all. Rather like AKen, my aim is to amuse myself and finish at a pace that suits me rather than race any whippets. If so, I wondered how 'serious' a ride it is - not in terms of the distance but the attitude of the participants. I'm not taken part in an event like this before and my target is simply to finish so I'm curious if I will be a lone straggler finishing hours after everyone else has gone home? </p>
