We have the Yepp mini and it's great. But, as you say, unless you've got a Dutch-style bike already with a tall stem, with little reach, and sweeping handlebars, it's a real compromise to make it work (or buy all new bits for the front of the bike as we did). You can pick up a Dutch-style stem and bars new from the Dutchbikebits site for about £20.

I like the look of the Yepp, but put off by seeing some people who've had to completely redo the cockpit area (handlebars, stems etc) to get it to fit.

Can anyone offer any thoughts on this? I want a seat for our 18mo chap, trailer is too much of a beast esp for nursery run and I'm thinking that a front seat might be better balance wise than a rear one (and means I can use pannier or rucksack still). I'm quite tall (and wide, ahem) and he's tall and skinny for his age. I have a range of bikes but I generally ride a Trek hybrid to work. Husband usually rides a hardtail.
