A friend of mine (who has difficulty walking due to a pretty complex neurological condition) went to a handcycle try out a little while ago out west, and long-story-short, he's now the secretary of a brand new handcycling group in Edinburgh.</p> <p>Their website is <a href="http://www.handcyclingedinburgh.org/">here</a>.</p> <p>They've got a couple of events during the EdFoC:</p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/533680573483712/">Taster session on Sunday 12th June</a> (I think at Victoria Park.... Can't access the link here at work)</p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/281042978909648/">Taster and short led rides on Tuesday 14th June</a>.</p> <p>Apparently the biggest growth in handcycle sales is actually amongst the 'able-bodied'. I'll be hanving a shot of my mate's 'bike' just as soon as the frame to be able to move it out of the flat and into the lift has been built. </p>
