The interview was two days hence and I would be at work for 14 hours that day so unavailable. "Could we schedule for next week perhaps, when I'll be better placed to get the time off when we aren't short staffed due to armed roberies on our district?" I asked. "Oh, we're really very keen to get these positions filled as soon as humanly possible." came the reply.
