Seem to recall the last time CCE was there the resident brewer had not long passed away and nobody had yet taken over the brewing facilities.</p> <p>That awful McCowan's place at Fountain Park finally got rid of the sham brewpub appearance by selling off the brewery equipment a while back. Think coloured bricks, marble, sandstone and bright metalwork.</p> <p>Interiors often also of a matching high quality.</p> <p>There isn't that much of it in Edinburgh, certainly not big examples, and most of it is pretty conservative by PoMo standards. The Gyle or the EICC are good examples.
