<description>&#60;p&#62;Hardly surprising the Scottish figures are going backwards given the private operators appear to be going through a combination of pulling out of routes (e.g. First in East and Mid Lothian) or jacking up the fares to an unsustainable level (e.g. First in Glasgow).
