Radio two reported the Road Closed in both directions on their travel news. The location was stated as just under the castle!

Is there some new law in Edinburgh that you must not report anti-car news?

Near fatal pedestrian collision on Dalry Road Saturday - no mention of it in Evening Snews. Full accident investigation, Dalry Road shut for about 3 hours, road only opened about an hour before Hearts kick off. Car's mot was 3 years out of date.

This from Edinburgh travel

Edin_urghTr_velNews ‏@edintravel
Queensferry St delays appear to be the result of a pedestrian accident. Westbound Qs from Frederick St. #edintravel

What is a "pedestrian accident"? More likely to be a vehicle crashing with a pedestrian - and for it not to be an accident? Somebody will be at fault.
