I think the free version may have a download limit. I bought the paid for version (£1.99 at present).</p> <p>TrigpointingUK used to work in a similar fashion but doesn't seem to work on my latest phone build (Android 6). It's free.</p> <p>I also use MM Tracker which isn't on the Play Store and will display Memory Map files (of a certain vintage) which you can stick on your SD card. This could well be user error, mind).</p> <p>I'm going to subscribe to OS Maps when I get my new laptop.
