Wide, smooth, nice to cycle. Really useful path to connect to the NEPN. Not *too* bad a connection from Ocean Terminal either, except for the on-road vehicle dodging. I wasn't sure if the other side was then shared use (Granton Road pavement is certainly wide enough but heads in the wrong direction). Maybe it is just so you can rejoin the carriageway on the correct side?</p> <p>The cycleway appears to continue as far as Oxcraig Street, albeit with a less than ideal crossing of Lochinvar Drive. The works include: </p> <p>Upgrading the existing McKelvie Parade shared use path to 4m wide </p> <p>Construction of new 4m shared use path from the Wardie Bay Garage to Oxcraig Street </p> <p>New street lighting along the length of route. Not to take forward the Sustrans Neighbourhood project or specifically as part of the Promenade project.
