&#60;p&#62;It might well be a legitimate use of the cycle budget (pays for off-road gritting). &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If it's 'simple', work could/would be done by Local Team (NEPN mostly North), you could engage via Twitter or email. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I think realistically the work will involve high branch removal. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Useful 'volunteer activity' would be to observe the 'worst' lights and note the numbers on them. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Sustrans would know if their rangers are organising work parties.

<description>&#60;p&#62;It's nice to have lighting on the path network. In a lot of places, trees have grown over the lights leaving big shadows or darkness. It makes things a bit gloomy and less inviting, probably less safe and waste of electricity. For instance at Scotland St tunnel but many other places. Does this come under Council maintenance? I think Greenspace did/do trimming of trees for clearance/sightlines?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I might be willing to volunteer to do some trimming...
