Active travel funding remains at £39m - same as this year. </p> <p>The Cycling, Walking and Safer Streets budget goes up from £5.9m this year to £7.4m next, but it isn't clear whether this increase is included in the £39m total (although I suspect it probably is).</p> <p>The total transport budget has increased from £2.284bn to £2.408bn - an increase of 5.4%. So active travel spending as a proportion of total spending has fallen.
