Yes I went back to the road where it fell and found the cap and an o-ring (+1 for cobbles), both items were in a gap in-between and unscathed. Sadly the lens was nowhere to be seen. No good for mountain biking (although did navigate family half way across Colonsay on the road with one) but excellent for being seen from a very wide range of angles. If you're not using the head light for your visibility but for being seen I'd recommend something similar (flashing). Wouldn't be without one now, esp when in traffic.</p> <p>Suspect if/when I come off and need the protection (i think) a helmet gives me, more than likely it'll be the side/front/back of my head that hits the ground first and takes the majority of the impact, not the top where the light is. Minimal extra risk i feel.</p> <p>@IWRATS - yes, Exposure lights are great.
