Ever since the trams came in, the lights at South St David Street, by Jenners, seem to have been totally deprioritised compared to those serving the main Princes Street traffic. I thought things might have been improved as the council did say they were all monitored and improved proactively, but I sat there last night with a queue of traffic and a bunch of unhappy pedestrians as the lights remained red for what seemed like an absolute age.</p> <p>Meanwhile, the Princes Street lights were going through numerous full cycles and also stretches with no traffic other than the odd tram going through. So are the lights set to remain open to prioritise trams regardless of the time gap between them or are these ones just not working? And who should it be flagged to (even though I'm assuming nothing will be done, at least I've raised it).</p> <p>M. </p>
