I've given them a ring and just explained what happened, asked them to mention it to the drivers, and told them that on the whole their drivers are pretty good and I've never had to complain before.

Does 'your company' know them on a driver to driver or manager to manager basis?

Might be better if it could be done on a 'one of my staff mentioned' basis.

I think you should point it out to them in a constructive way. Make the point that it's not a great advertisement for their company if their driver seems to behave in an incosiderate manner (I presume they have logos and contact numbers etc. on their wagons) and that if the same maneouver had been pulled on a less-experienced or less-attent cyclist then it could have been nasty (and would have been an even worse advert for their company!)

I should think a politely worded letter or email, firstly complimenting their drivers on 2 1/2 years of good driving but pointing out the dangers of what that driver just did. It doesn't sound like any actual malice was there, just typical driver behaviour towards a non-entity such as a cyclist.

My workplace is on the same salubrious industrial estate as a removal company. I've just been out on a visit and when I came back one of their lorries was behind me and thought it would be a good idea to overtake me in the few yards between the railway bridge and our turn-in, and then straight away turn left into our turn-in. Except he decided to stop half way through the manoeuvre to let another lorry out and then set off again once that lorry had gone to complete his left turn. Luckily I had had the sense to stay well back but I still got a bit of a fright. So my dilemma is, do I phone and speak to them about it because I don't want him to do it again, or do I not phone and speak to them about it - because I don't want him to do it again?

They're usually pretty good - this is the only incident I've had with one of their lorries in two and a half years - so I don't want to antagonise them into viewing me as a target, but on the other hand, it was an unnecessary overtake which could have been nasty for a less experienced cyclist. Obviously because I know where they're based, I assumed his left indicator was telling me he was going to turn in, but someone who doesn't know where they're based might have thought he was just indicating he was pulling in after his overtake.
