Sorn castle looked lovely in the sunshine, though the four miles from Sorn to mauchline involves three quite steep hills and windy descents except into mauchline which is straight descent but with massive speed bumps. </p> <p>Poosie Nancy was in the doorway of her eponymous boozer in mauchline smoking a fag.
