<description>&#60;p&#62;Interesting route, throwing in off-road stretches. The road.cc article suggests they're going over the Devil's Staircase, but the ridewithgps map shows a route through Glen Coe so I guess they mean the Welsh one. Getting bike-packing kit over that path would be a good test of the contestants' mettle.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There would be ample scope for a mixed-surface Scottish equivalent taking in the toughest road and off-road climbs. Imagine a route with the Corrieyairick, a traverse of Mount Keen, the Bealach na Bà, the Lecht, the Lairig Ghallabhaich and the Rest and Be Thankfull.
