She recently made friends with an <a href="https://www.facebook.com/samanthaboyes123/">extreme taxidermist</a> who has spare animal parts aplenty. This, inevitably, lead to a 'you couldn't knit <em>that</em> could you?' challenge. Well you can, and the result is oddly attractive. I've got ticks cycling in the hills, obviously, but I also got one from a passage through Greenroofer's railway snicket, which prompted me to hack its vegetation back in 2015. There are herds of roe deer wandering around suburban Edinburgh and you now need to watch out pretty much everywhere.</p> <p>My doctor is insistent that tick-borne encephalitis is heading this way quickly, and formally forbade me from hill-running on the continent without full body cover. </p>
