Why would I park round the corner and why are those cyclists trying to get out into primary from being stuck behind these cars parked in the bike lane, they should wait until there is no traffic. Ridiculous. So why would these lines be repainted? They are quite simply ignored, no doubt because there is no penalty as they are "advisory", and the result is cyclists weaving around parked cars when moving traffic may expect them to (somehow) remain within the painted lines.</p> <p>Given the failure to keep the lanes clear, it would be better not to have the white lines.</p> <p>The problem is particularly bad outside D Mains School - which is where you'd maybe think the council would hope to influence behaviour the most. </p>
