The entire thing being raised is really quite nice though seems weird it's red chipped.</p> <p>But the thing I found most interesting is the red surfaced line in the distance of Fountainbridge's first photo. It's between the main intersection and the pedestrian crossing on the south arm of the junction only. The only thing I can think of is that's a zone for a two stage right between Gilmore Place and Viewforth north to the new Boroughmuir.</p> <p>Can anyone else think what it is? Guessing the tarmac is a time and cost saving method. Looks like it wil be a proper 'table' so no kerbs. But also red chip tarmac for the whole thing. </p> <p>I've not seen that before. any idea what the significance is? </p>
