It was overgrown for many years. They scraped off the debris about six years ago and revealed a path with stone edging. Unfortunately they also removed a lot of the finer top dressing and exposed the rubble founds which became puddles. This time they seem to be tarmacing the whole thing. </p> <p>The cynic in me thinks it may improve the environmental impact asessment for the housing proposal just beyond there in the field bounded by Newhailes.
