Overhead a huge dial shows the audience how you're doing over a simulated 500m distance. Speeds in excess of 50mph have been recorded. Anyone who turns up can have a go. Gradually the field gets smaller as riders are 'eliminated'. Participation is not mandatory. Rollapaluza events are renowned for their atmosphere. It's not every day you have licence to cycle in a bar.</p> <p>Venue: Studio 24, Calton Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8DP.<br /> Time: from 6:00pm Wednesday 1 December 2010.
