Examining infrastructure with other people more fruitful than doing it by yourself.</p> <p>I knew a little bit of the route as I used to go along Whitson Road and then along the pavement by Stenhouse Drive before the last link of the cycle route by the tram was built, the bit that comes out as Baird Drive. . I kicked myself in retrospect as I didn't know that Pansy Walk is opposite Whitson Road - I only knew it from the other end and use it for the trip along the Water of Leith. So had taken a less pleasant route to get to Whitson Road.</p> <p>Anyway the changes proposed look positive. I'd gone to the exhibition and earwigged some locals who seemed enthusiastic about a better route to Saughton Park, Balgreen School and the Library. </p> <p>Stenhouse is densely populated and flat. Two of us, Euan and Rosie, will be walking the route on Thursday 1 June 7:30pm. You are very welcome to join us.
