Also 200kg of printed stuff on behalf of organisation in city with UA.<br /> They have separate area for batteries and old bulbs / strip light.<br /> E-goods in a big skip. Sure some are minor faults but cheaper to chuck than repair.<br /> Carpet was only failure as it just goes landfill at Seafield as recycling facility burned down.</p> <p>Only bad thing is having to bump off kerb from Seafield shared use pavement to do right turn. As one way system ywhen you leave you have to re-enter turning left after rail bridge and cycle fast in rare traffic space. Print out the pages of your calendar to the right size to fit in a CD case on nice glossy paper and then use the CD case as a stand. If you had a metric tonne of them then a recycling depot would be interested.</p> <p>If you interrogate Recycle for Scotland, it says CDs aren't collected for recycling anywhere in Edinburgh or Glasgow. I did find a few results for recycling them in Birmingham, though. They have a "hard plastic" section.</p> <p>Anyone know if the discs and cases are both hard?</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Does anyone use/want discs for bird scaring (or other things)? Or have a use for the cases? </p>
