The Loch Lochy stretch is forest road - fine for a hybrid, bit sketchy for road tyres.</p> <p>The Loch Ness section is lovely tarmac, I'd recommend a detour up the Inverfarigaig corkscrew, Torness and Loch Duntelchaig with descent back to Loch Ness by Tighe-na-Coille. On a touring, hybrid or road bike? (Thinking of taking a tourer, so no MTB hill trail madness for me).</p> <p>Any advice appreciated. </p>
