The do do year round insurances, but they also sell holiday insurance. The first week is an organised mountainbike holiday in the Pyrenees, the second is a week in the Picos de Europa with non-cycling (well, not bringing bikes) friends. I'm also going to Rome in October for the Gran Fondo Campagnolo Roma.</p> <p>I've been having a bit of a look at travel (and bike) insurance options. We used to have an auto-renewing multi-trip policy with Virgin Money which covered all our needs, but we've not taken bikes with us like this before - well, once, but were probably not properly insured. This time, we'll have a large investment in bikes (including one that's one week old) with us...</p> <p>We're normally covered in the UK by our house insurance. For this reason, I'm unwilling to shell out for additional cycle cover that appears to be aimed at day-to-day use - but travel policies with the bikes specified seem extraordinarily expensive.</p> <p>Does anyone have any experience in this area? </p>
