Cubbyhole was an under the stairs phenomenon. Indoors. In the west. Good for hide and seek and where you would find the hoover

Could be a cubby.

I'm not sure you could call it a press, as a press I think is something you only find inside the house.

Ours were originally (pre communal wheelie) bin stores so it should come as no surprise to hear they're called the bin stores.

Maybe post refurbishment we'll find a better name for them as previously they just collected leaves

Me and Frenchy are both sheep-botherers. Anyone chops their tatties on a bunker is mad to us.

Klaxon's original photo is like a coal bunker. This would be out the back door for coal. Bit too small for a bike

Bunker is definitely a worktop, cellar?

The dunny in Glasgow is when you enter the tenement and instead of ascending the stairwell you go down behind the stairs where there is a recess for tools and nefarious activity.

Bunker is curiously a work surface in your kitchen in these lothians indeed.

I noticed in stnhouse today a cafe has called itself The Sitooterie. That is a back porch.

My mother and grandmother used to refer to my grandfather's "glory hole" under the house as the "dunny" - it was a cellar but you didn't get into it from within the house, the door was outside.

Clearly a bunker.

That was the only possibility I thought of, but then I thought a bunker is a kitchen counter down this way.

I bought the Raleigh Mule. Good value at around £140.

Haven't used it enough to comment on durability, etc.

This one's not really a shed, and it's not new, but I'm rather pleased that my garden... cupboard? is now lockable, so I've tidied it up and installed an anchor in anticipation of being able to keep a trailer in it

https://i.imgur.com/4gGUAJA

Still considering what model.. like I have been for two years.. I know what one I should get but it's so expensive for something that at the moment I don't at all "need".
