This is *supposed* to be mandatory. However in front several restaurants there's about 2 to 2.5m lost to outdoor seating, leaving 1.5 to 2m, which should be sufficient. </p> <p>However another 1m is lost at several points with the proliferation advert boards, pointing to pubs/restaurants they sit outside of, or up Thistle St etc..</p> <p>As a result there are a several places where the usable space is less than 1m. So people end up queuing to get through. Seems mental. I moved one of the signs today, but it was back taking primary position on the pavement within 30 mins.</p> <p>Anyone know who in CEC is meant to enforce this ? </p>
