Fairly toxic fumes when applying the stuff, but once dry it will bond your sole back to the uppers, form a waterproof seal. Asked Tiso to give me <em>all</em> the boots to try and not to mention price. They weren't even that dear, but it felt like crossing the Dolomites in my baffies.</p> <p>Got another equivalent pair when they died, but the soles are coming loose. They were so comfortable and such good quality that a pair of the Terra boots for everyday use became an imperative.</p> <p>Looking forward to another 4 or so years of wear from them. Scarpa Terra GTXs.</p> <p>Five years old and worn pretty much daily, but still. </p> <p>Sad times... </p>
